Volcanic Ash non-stay!!
I would love to let everyone know what happened to me-my trip was canceled due to the volcanic ash. I was beyond disappointed because this was to be my dream trip-I've wanted to go to Ireland since I was a child-my grandmother was born and raised there. I hadn't purchased trip insurance because I was going no matter what. The wonderful management at this hotel gave me a full refund-and within a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting on the airline. Anyway-I will make this trip again and I won't stay anywhere but the Ardmore-I've told everyone I know and hopefully more people will book with this hotel. (I filled in all the categories because it wouldn't let me submit unless I did-however we don't know since we didn't stay.)

Ireland trip
Hotel was great. Quiet clean rooms. No alarm clock though had to do wake up calls every morning. Buses are very convenient, you just need to learn the schedule and drop off points.

Perfect!
Hotel staff was very accomodating. We emailed ahead about an early check in. When we arrived, they had a room ready for us, which was greatly appreciated for a short rest after an eight hour flight. Also, loved the use and convenience of the city bus stops in front of hotel. Never drive yourself in the city of Dublin. Rent the car on your way out of the city. Also handy to a large grocery store for snack, etc. We are glad we didn't stay in the expensive, busy, and loud city centre.

Handy for the City centre
Good, clean hotel right on the bus route to the City. Room was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Could perhaps think about turning the heating down though.

Good value
Hotel was OK for the price. I did not like that it was too far from airport (16km was on taximeter receipt), so we paid 23 and 24 euros for transfers. When you look at map it seems that hotel is in between airport and city center, but when you drive with taxi you can see that is not so.

Noisy on side of busy street
We were given a room on the front of the hotel which faces a busy street. Since there is no A/C, then we must leave the window open so noise is a problem. I requested they move us to the rear of the hotel. My request was honored and noise on the other side of the hotel wasn't a problem.
