Not a bad little place, view of the harbour if you're fortunate enough to get a street view room, or the back car park otherwise.
Rooms are ok, as are bathrooms, fixed showerhead, a bit tatty but fair enough for the price. TV was badly tuned into
a few channels, obviously no cable.
No air con, so you've have to open the window for air, unless you want to get to sleep that is, as the hotel is on a main road.
Efficient and professional receptionists.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Go round the back of hotel and within a couple of minutes your surrounded by shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs etc on the way to the centre of Cork.
First time in this hotel for a two night break. Location very good but parking a problem as could never get into the hotel car park which is quite small.
Staff very nice and helpful and breakfast good.
Would stay again for the convenience and
value for money.
This was great; I'd heard negative reviews before, but I think it has had a revamp. Lovely room, no noise issues. We were on the 4th floor overlooking the river and beautiful views of Cork. Great price, don't want to say too much push it out of my
price range! Just had room only so didn't try the breakfast.
Myself and my husband went to Cork for a two night midweek getaway for our 30th Anniversary. We had a lovely time but then again, we always do in Cork. The hotel is very central, and the staff are very helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Will
