Gending Kedis Villas & Spa Estate Bali

What a gem. The villas are utterly amazing and apart from a small issue with the hifi system, and a flushing problem with our toilets, well appointed. The infinity pool looking out over the jungle made one feel at one with the surroundings and totally secluded - you could skinny dip if so desired. We met up with our son and his fiancee and we couldn't have chosen a better location. Perhaps more suitable for adult families or couples - it isn't on the beach, but free transport is available if you so desire. A courtesy car transfer would have been much appeciated on arrival after a long haul flight, instead of which my son had to phone on arrival and we paid US$20 for the privilege. A taxi works out at less than half this price. Service was good and the staff friendly - [...] on the desk was particularly helpful. Indonesian service within the restaurant is different to what you expect in the West, at breakfast all courses may arrive at once or not in the order you would expect, but I was happy to go with the flow. Marmalade for us Westerners was not available. The Spa was wonderfully clean and relaxing - a little more expensive than those in downtown Kuta, but good to be able to go back to your room afterwards. The welcoming massage wasn't really worth the effort as it was only a 5 minute head massage. The WIFI connection was consistently good and you could even use video on SKYPE without too much interruption.So apart from some very minor glitches our 2 week stay there was fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to others. More importantly I would be more than happy to stay there again.

バリの数ある小規模ラグジュアリーホテルの中でも特異なテーストの居心地のいい静かなホテル。敷地際の部屋だったが朝（夜明け）の鳥の周辺の鳴き声のうるさい位の多彩さ、際の大きめのプールの下の谷に近所の放し飼い牛2頭が草を求めて入りこんで来ていたり、タイの昔のチェンマイリゾートをもう少しただの自然化したみたいな、ぼんやり疲れを取る居心地よさ。ホテルレストランは秀逸。
