Alila Manggis is a member of Design Hotels. One of Bali’s best kept secrets, Alila Manggis is a secluded, stylish seaside resort in Manggis, East Bali. peaceful and friendly

The staff was amazing. This hotel is so comfortable you almost don't want to leave. The food was excellent and every staff person was so nice I felt like I was at a Bed & Breakfast. The pool is quiet and there is a free scuba class. They also have free snorkeling, fishing, and Yoga. I took the free shuttle to Tenganan and had a great 2 hour tour of the Bali Aga village. Overall I thought the service was BETTER. The only negative is that there is no sand on the beach, so you have to go to Candidasa if you like sand.
