We were very happy with the accommodation and service. The hotel was clean, the two pools were well maintained and our rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely view across the forest and rice fields. Delightful stay.

Good location, right beside the
Good location, right beside the Monkey forest and close to major shopping streets, not too far from town centre (Ubud Pasar). New rooms are nice, but many have no view at all, so look before you commit for more than 1 night. Breakfast was good. Limited TV channels available and HBO had only Indo language available, which would have been for the benefit of staff only as all the guests were we saw were european. Late check-out was not made available, which reduces the rating in my book.

The Hotel is in a great situation
The Hotel is in a great situation for shopping, restaurants and the Monkey Forest. Unfortunately there have been major renovation works going on in the hotel for some weeks. The 2nd pool is unavailable there is no bar, and the constant noise and view of the works in progress (from 8am to 6pm) caused huge disruption to what was supposed to be a restful holiday. Not recommended at this time at any price

Champlung Sari
The Hotel was in easy walking distance to Restaurants, shopping, temples, the Yoga Barn and the Monkey Forest. The people were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to find a taxi or driver if you wanted to explore the sights in the area ie. Holy Water Temple, coffee plantation, and artists.

The hotel is on the opposite side
The hotel is on the opposite side of Monkey Forest Park. The driver stopped us near the park soon after the hotel sign was seen. But that is not the hotel entrance. We had to pull our bags and walked along Monkey Forest Road which is a one-way road for about 100m and made a 90 degree turn to the right for another 100m to reach the hotel entrance. The hotel is well located and there are many boutique and souvenior shops and restaurants along Monkey Forest Road going towards Ubud 's main road where the main market is situated near the junction. We booked a deluxe room which was big and clean. We had a big balcony looking over a paddy field. It was also near to the hotel restaurant and swimming pool. The whole environment was calm and serene. Breakfast was included and was good. We like this hotel.

Great location, mediocre price
The hotel had a great location, just 50 meters from the Monkey Forest and right on the main road lined with restaurants, dances and shops (far enough away to be quiet). However, this is a touristy area. But those wishing to see a more authentic bali should stay clear from this entire area, which is really quite fun and enjoyable. Also, there is a lot of culture here, it is just aimed at visitors. The hotel has a nice pool, though it does not compare with those in the nicer hotels. Also, the rooms are quite nice, though the bathroom is a little more spare (but still alright). I believe that there are more expensive rooms in cheaper places that would be better, or cheaper rooms in nicer places. This hotel does not quite hit that sweet spot. However, it was quite nice and I did not regret staying there. I will probably not return, though.

Entertainment tip:
Long walk from hotel
Go up the road away from the monkey forest (which is just 50 meters away) and you will be able to reach numerous dance shows at night. Just ask the hotel lobby to see the schedule and get directions, though most are within a 20 minute walk away. (I suggest the Kecak dance).

Wonderful location in Ubud, Bali
The facilities of the hotel are marvelous, they even work as escenario to take some pictures. The pool is nice too. The reception desk service was not best I have recived before, but the other services where very good. The hotel location is unbeatable, many restaurants and shops are pretty near.
