Very Good Depending On Your Agenda
Needed to sleep after long trip and continue on from Chennai. Close to hotel was great and staff made point to find me after a luggage snafu, and I felt well cared for. Food is very good, service great and accommodating. It is about half hour from Center of City which made it a little inconvenient, but very doable with good taxi service. Great for leaving Chennai since so close to airport.

Bare essential comforts missing at Chennai Radisson
I stayed at the Chennai Radisson on August 20th, 2008. It was a short layover, 7 hours to be precise, between my domestic flight coming in to Chennai and my international flight back to USA. All I wanted was a comfortable room to rest in for a few hours, grab a bite to eat, take a shower, before starting on my really long flight back home. Room service menu was terrible. India is justly famous for its wonderful vegetarian dishes - but not on the Radisson room service menu. The skimpy meal I was forced to chose came in late. The real disappointment was that when I went to take a shower, there was absolutley no hot water to be had! Try showering and washing your hair with cold water and then stepping out into an airconditioned room. This was not a cheap roadside hotel! I payed a pretty hefty price tag for the seven hours I stayed at the Chennai Raddison. The least I should have expected are basic amenities such as a good room service, hot water for a shower. Is that too much to ask? Apologies of staff do not cut it - what I wanted was service for the price I paid. Never again!!!
