- The room offers two twin beds. Standard and double/twin hotel rooms at Grand Hotel Reykjavik are comfortable 21 m2 and 26,5 m2 and offer a range of amenities. Some hotel rooms have nice view over the city and to the beautiful mountains and the sea.
- Family Room
- The room offers two twin beds and a sofa bed. Family friendly hotel rooms with spacious accommodations (36 m2) and there are twin beds and double sofa bed in the rooms. The hotel rooms are comfortable and convenient for the entire family.

The hotel rooms and staff were excellent, helpful and very friendly! They arranged tours, helped us find fun things to do and were very pleasant! The location is a little away from downtown-which is no problem during the summer, but we were there in Jan, so the walk into downtown was a WEE BIT brisk. However, we enjoyed the scenery and discovered a good grocery store nearby. The public pool is nearby too. The view of downtown and the glaciers gliding in were worth staying the the tower. Breakfast and hardy and the coffee was delicious. I did try the mysterious bottle of "fish oil stuff" on the buffet. I think it was cod-liver oil. Never again. We had a great time, Iceland is beautiful and the hotel was superb! THANKS

A modern comfortable hotel - but about 20 mins walk from the city centre. Askur's Brasserie (near the Hilton Hotel) was good for meals, especially on Sunday evenings. Hotel had a happy hour between 5.00 and 6.00 each evening which was just as well! Otherwise £5.00+ for a pint. Staff very helpful. Good breakfast - even at 04.30. Would stay here again.

About a 30 minute walk from the
About a 30 minute walk from the city centre if you wish to walk into the centre of Reykjavik but near a small shopping centre with some restaurants near by. Is also a Hotel used as apick up for the main tour company.

1x OK, relativ
Zimmer im "Altbau": 1x OK, relativ groß, etwas abgewohnt 1x unmöglich, sehr lange ungenutzt, nicht gereinigt, "Nasszelle" z.T. defekt. Zimmer im "Neubau" (Turm) gut, da neu, recht groß Frühstück: Auswahl + Qualität gut, schlechte Räumlichkeit, viele große Tische, wenig kleine, zeitweise großer Andrang, vor allem wenn Busse da, dann typisches Herdenverhalten der Gäste, wie überall auf diesem Planeten. Gastroniomie (abends) ausgezeichnet, Qualität gut, Service gut, der (Ober-)Kellner ist auch noch einer der weis was er macht!

Muy centrico, un personal bastante cordial y amable, buenas instalaciones y servicio exquisito. Habitaciones amplias y comodas con vistas a la ciudad. Totalmente recomendable
