Great value hotel in a ggod location
Great location only 5 minutes from shopping area of Reykjavik. Hotel offers great breakfasts - even when we had an early morning departure they gave us sandwiches and coffee before we left - a nice touch! All city sights are within easy walking distance. Recommend the Icelandic Fish and Chip Restaurant with their flaky cod and crispy potatoes cooked organically. Blue Lagoon is a must - but very overpriced. Golden Circle tour is excellent and gives great insight to the island, history, geology and culture - highly recommended.

OK for short stay

dirty room
Hotel room was not clean. Stains on the bedspreads and towels. Breakfast was poorly stocked. Tables were not cleared, you had to clear your own tables although there was staff around.
