- All rooms are small in size and in fair condition. The bathrooms are small in size and also in fair condition. Decorated in yellow and white colours, rooms are cheerful, if not luxurious. Some rooms have windows into the corridors, and therefore do not have any natural light.

Better than expected. Nice view of the ocean. The name of the hotel is Hotel Cabin, not Cabin Hotel. Please make name change accordingly. I thought I was at the wrong hotel when the shuttle dropped me off.

GOOD VALUE and confort
the hotel is located aoutside of city center but 20 minutes walk is not that bad. breakfast ok and salad bar is just that dont spect any meat at all. food is good and bar as well. very useful staff for getting reservation for tours and airport transfers.

Moved to a different hotel
The hotel was overbooked (this was late October), so we were moved to a different property. It was pretty fresh and had free Internet. Breakfast was pretty average.

Easy to find. Car parking facilities
Easy to find. Car parking facilities available. Pleasant walk along the sea to the city centre took 25 minutes. Rooms on the small side bu not an issue. Good quality breakfast included.

The good and bad about Cabin
Good: -modern and clean -breakfast included Bad: -far from the city centre.Not convenient.(20-30 minute walk) -staffs are not friendly.They gave me attitude everytime I asked a question. -wifi is not free.

Long walk from hotel
Love the hot dogs there! A must try. They taste different from those in the US. For restaurant, I would recommend Cafe Paris.

Easy hotel location to find.
Easy hotel location to find. Friendly service. Gave lots of advice about sight seeing trips. We hired a car and did our own. The roads in Iceland are excellent and easy to drive. Watch for speed cameras. Rooms - Cabins are small but the delux room is very spacious. Breakfast was very good. A good variety of food.

We stayed for 3 nights in Deluxe
We stayed for 3 nights in Deluxe room and the room was not so big but very clean and has enough amenity(towel, shower jell&shampoo, hair treatment and soap) but this hotel doesn't have a free internet service, so if you want it you have to pay at the front desk(we payed for 24h:2,000isk). 20 to 30 min walk to city centre and also you can take a bus near the hotel. Walking outside was soooooo hard in the cold and very windy season.

Hotel Cabin
Room was small, but great for a quick night stay. Beds were comfortable and the buffet breakfast was great! A great value for the price. Not too far out of town (20 min walk), and there are 2 buses that stop near the hotel if you don't want to walk. Check in at noon was very convenient after taking the red eye flight into Keflavik.
