Perfectly situated stylishness
we had an amazing trip to Iceland, and our stay at the 101 was perfect. We got a lot of help from the concierges booking tours etc, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Our room was on the small side, but perfect for us, with a view of the harbor, very comfortable bed, good wifi connection. Reykjavik is a small town so a lot of hotels are situated conveniently but the location of this hotel was excellent.

Fantastic amenities and welcoming...
We were lucky enough to have a water view, which is recommended unless you are very bothered by street noise, which was noticeable but not a bother. The staff is very personable and helpful. Rooms are first rate design and extremely comfortable.

Short walk from hotel
Make sure to take the quick walk to the hot dog stand just a few blocks from the hotel. Also Iceland Fish and Chips and The Fish Market (both found at the downtown center and very near the hotel) cannot be topped for top-rate cuisine. Try the Fish Market tasting menu if you're feeling indulgent and you will not be disappointed.
