- Our guest rooms are decorated with modern colours and rich furnishings and offer all the amenities you would expect. Double or twin bed, TV with local and international channels, wireless Internet. Each room has bathroom facilities, including a shower and a hairdryer.

- On the opposite side of the country from Reykjavik, Egilsstadir is the perfect alternative to the capital and is the ideal conferencing venue in East Iceland. The newest wing of Hotel Herad contains a large conference/meeting room, addressing the needs of a number of businesses and event planners. Other, smaller rooms are also on offer, which can all be opened up to create one big space. Inclusive of the rental are such devices as a projector, screen, DVD player, VHS recorder and microphone, while other high-tech equipment is also available. The possibility of catering a two-course meal can help make the day go more smoothly, while simpler, lighter refreshments and coffee break snacks can also be supplied. Pleasant stay
After a very busy couple of days this hotel was the first place we felt like we got a good nights sleep. The hotel was nicely decorated and bathroom and shower area was modern and nicely set-up. Even though breakfast was not included we decided to still pay and eat there. It ended up being the best breakfast we had thus far. The only complaint we have is that Iceland hotels has a habit of putting two twin beds together to make a double bed which lead to some discomfort. Overall it was a great experience and we would go back.
