Topnotch service at town center
We spent two nights but wished we had three. Great town for people-watching, eating out, and shopping, but our favorite activities were out of town--on the water and hiking. Hotel top-notch. Great service and breakfast. Our room was spacious, but on the sunny side of the hotel, which made it rather hot in the mornings. Would definitely go back, though. Great location, too.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Take the ferry from Dalvik Harvbour to Grimsey Island! It's inside the Arctic Circle--great puffins to see from about five feet away. A highlight of our Iceland trip.

Expensive for what it was
The hotel was nice and clean just a little over priced for what it was. We had a nice view from our room with a balcony however it was a shared balcony which was a little weird. The breakfast that was included was good and the location was great. Our only real compliant was that it was most expensive hotel we stayed at in iceland and it wasn't the nicest one.
