Low-key Budapest boutique hotel with free breakfast and Internet access
The Hungarian flag flies proudly at the Sissi Hotel Budapest, a small boutique hotel on a quiet street. Authentic Hungarian and European touches include glass art nouveau lamps, hand-painted four post beds and souvenirs honoring Hungarian Queen Elisabeth -- the hotel namesake (Sissi was her nickname). This hotel offers free European breakfasts and high-speed wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, full bar and quaint garden terrace. Great location
We had a great week at the Hotel Sissi. The location was terrific...one block from the metro station! Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was included and a good meal. The only complaint was that the staff were a bit too eager to sell us tickets, passes, etc. Fortunately, we did our homework and knew we could purchase these tickets cheaper.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Buy a seven day transportation pass (not the one that includes other sites). It cost about $20.00 and is good for use on the metro, buses, local trains, and the tram!
