MTV made me visit this hotel and I'm glad
You've probably seen a bit from the Novotel Budapest City hotel in the world-famous Dire Straits "Money For Nothing" music video. It has a portion filmed in and around the hotel (The First Floor bit). That's the reason why I chose that hotel and no other one. Although it was built during the Socialist rule in Hungary, it's quite modern and up to Western standards. The rooms are clean and nice. The furniture is modern. It's good that the hotel is in Buda, the ancient part of Budapest. My room had a very nice view. I also enjoyed the gym. The food was incredible and the staff was friendly.

Gutes Businesshotel
Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. An der Reception wird sogar deutsch gesprochen. Das Zimmer war relativ gross. Das separate WC etwas gar klein und das Lavabo mit der Dusche war grössenmässig mittelmass. Vermutlich wird dieses Hotel eher für Konferenzen gebucht. Also wird das Doppelzimmer nur für eine einzelne Person gebraucht. Das Frühstückbuffett war reichlich. Ich werde dieses Hotel wieder berücksichtigen.

gepflegtes Hotel, Super Frühstücksbuffet
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Zimmer sind sehr praktisch aber kein Luxus. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel in 15 Minuten im Centrum:-)
