Brilliant Budapest
A superb hotel in a great location for exploring all that Budapest has to offer, St Stephen's Basilica literally at the end of the street and the Opera House around the corner. A wide selection of cafes and eateries are located within a few minutes walk of the hotel. The hotel experience was excellent, the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous- nothing was too much trouble for them. We finished off each day with a relaxing drink at the well stocked,reasonably priced hotel bar before sleeping in the comfiest of beds.Well done K&K.

Great location, friendly staff
The K&K Opera was ideally located on the Pest side of the river with several great places to eat within a few moments walk. It also lay on the Metro route to the Szechenyi Baths which were on our to-do list. It felt safe and secure. The staff were the most friendly I have ever encountered and they were brilliantly helpful and informative. The main concierge, in particular, was great and recognised us and remembered our room number immediately. My only complaint was that at night the room seemed incredibly hot, regardless of any adjustments we made to the thermostat. But generally, it was the perfect place to stay in Budapest. (Also very grateful for a kettle and tea and coffee in the room!)

Go to the Szechenyi spa but book at the hotel - there's no premium to pay and it saves any hassle when you get there.

Great Hotel, Great location
I stayed in this hotel for a weekend. It is modern, clean and well equipped. It is a stone's throw away from the Opera house, walking distance to the Basilica and other places of interest. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a wellbeing centre. There is free wifi in the rooms. The only snag was that breakfast was on the pricey side at 30euro. Otherwise a really great hotel that I would recommend

The Opera House is literally next door to the hotel. I got great seats at the box office an hour before the show on a friday night

Best deal in Budapest!
The only thing i can say i didn't like. it was that I had to pay about 16 Euros for garage per day, but it worth it cause parking spots in Budapest are really hard to find. Everybody in the hotel was so nice, the location OMG was perfect, everything except Buda Castle and the Heroes Monument are in between 2 - 10 minutes walking, but if u take taxi, drive ur own car or take public transportation the castle and the monument are around 7 - 10 minutes. The breakfast buffet was excelent too. Do not belive what other hotels say about themself, they're just selling, but K+K Hotel Opera is the real deal.

great location for city break
Hotel was clean, comfortable, convenient to city and the staff were friendly and helpful. Tea making facilities in room and internet access. Good breakfast. Nice restaurants and cafe/wine bars nearby.

Beware taxis hailed in the street or those waiting at stations etc - we were charged double fare. Ask the hotel to phone or get a taxi company number yourself and pre-arrange a journey.

Location, Location, Location!
The location was perfect, right around the corner from the beautiful Opera House and Callas Cafe on Andrassy Ut. Our room was small, but we had a wonderful marble bathroom with a great tub and enclosed shower. Service was excellent all around. It was a pleasure to stay at the K+K Hotel Opera! Evelyn & Nathaniel

We loved the Alexandra Bookstore and Coffeehouse on Andrassy. Very reasonable drinks and pastries in the exquisite gold paneled cafe. The Callas Cafe by the Opera House offers a lovely breakfast or coffee hour al fresco in springtime.

Four lovely days

All-around excellent hotel
We were very pleased with our stay here. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful, the room was the most comfortable I have stayed in in Europe, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful!

Great location
Located next to the beautiful opera building and steps from the metro.clean and modern. We felt right at home. The additional cost for breakfast was expensive. We skipped it and got great food in the neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Very Nice Comfortable Hotel
The staff was very nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast was the best I have had. The location was also very central to everything a tourist would want. Only negative, no WiFi in the rooms and no 3G reception (in my room, do not know if this is a hotel wide issue or not). If you are Ethernet connected, this is not an issue.
