Wonderful location, comfortable and clean

Our room was incredible. We had a river view that amazed us all each morning as we drew back the curtains. It was comfortable, a good size and had all the facilities you could need. The staff were great, always at hand and came up with some wonderful suggestions of restaurants and bars, even offering to book these locations for us. The location was perfect, exactly where you would want to be as a tourist, the tour bus stopped right outside, the centre of town was a short walk and we were right on the river's edge which provides beautiful scenery. The only negative and it is a very minor point was that we asked for a wake up call for our last morning, which unfortunately did't happen. Other than this, it was an exceptional stay at we thoroughly recommend it.

Great hotel!

This was a great hotel to stay at for our trip to Budapest. It was right on the river with lots of restaurants next door. Quick walk to castle hill and sights on the Pest side. Would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular view

This is a fantastic location - 1 block from the beautiful shopping district - 1 block from the Chain bridge. We were able to walk everywhere. The nightime panoramic view of the Danube and the castle was breathtaking. The hotel room was spacious and clean and the staff was unbelievably helpful and service-oriented. This will definitely be our destination hotel on our next visit. The only negative was the price of cocktails at the hotel bar - a steep 25 US dollars for one Vodka Tonic. While we understood that we were in a "high end" tourist area, We thought that price tag was excessive for a drink outside at the bar.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Driving in Budapest is a nightmare, so staying in this location and being able to step outside and walk across the bridge to the castle or walk around the block to VACI Utca shopping was key to a happy group of travelers. You see the very best of Budapest.

Location, location, location........

My daughter and I stayed at this wonderful hotel on a fly/drive trip through Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Our room was on an upper floor with a fantastic river view. Our room and bath were very spacious and immaculate For Europe, this is definitely a five star hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and do everything possible to make you feel welcome. My daughter's luggage missed our flight and concierge made phone calls and followed up until it arrived (all without our asking). Amazing! The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us with public transportation cards and explaining how it worked and where we could access it. Everyone is extremely accommodating. I cannot compliment and thank the staff enough. They truly enhanced our stay. I hope to go back again. Budapest is a fantastic city in every way.
