Hotel Mediterran is located in the centre of Buda and provides a real mediterranean atmosphere! The hotel is decorated in a tasteful, modern style and includes all of the amenities that guests have come to expect. All rooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms. In-room facilities are: hairdryer, minibar, safety deposit box, telephone, Wifi internet connection (extra cost in room, free on the pc terminal of the lobby), television with cable channels and pay-TV. You can enjoy the relaxing view on our garden or the Buda Hills through the soundproof windows of the rooms. We take the burden of city parking off your shoulders while you are exploring Budapest's world famous entertainment and tourist districts. Our friendly and qualified staff will provide you personal care and extensive information to make your stay pleasant and really convenient! Non-smoking and connecting rooms are available! Garage use costs 10 EUR /night. Note: Buffet breakfast is available for +8 EUR/person..

Area description
The modern 4 star hotel is situated in the very heart of Buda, at the gate of the city centre, exactly where the roads coming from Vienna (M1) and from lake Balaton (M7) reach the central downtown area. Convenient public transportation (bus and tram stop at 150 meters) puts the entire city centre within easy reach in minutes. Should you decide going to the center by car, the main road will lead you directly to Váci utca ( famous pedestrian street � 2 km) through Elisabeth bridge. But it is really worth taking a beautiful walk along the foot of Gellért Hill to the Castle district or to the bank of the Danube. You find world famous Gellért Thermal bath just the opposite side of the hill! Budapest Convention Centre (400 meters) and MOM Park shopping-, entertainment-, and business centre (500 meters) are in the neighborhood, so the hotel is an ideal base for accessing the business district as well.

Pour petit budget

L'hotel est sur une ligne du tram mais pour le centre ville on doit faire au moins un changement. Confortable pour les petits budgets et personnel très sympathique

Die Zimmer zur extrem stark befahrenen

Die Zimmer zur extrem stark befahrenen (Haupt-)strasse sind trotz geschlossener Schallschutzfenster zu laut, wir haben (gegen Aufpreis!)nach hinten gewechselt. "Zentrale Lage" ist das wirklich nicht, man muss einige Stationen Bus oder Tram fahren, um zu den Sehenswrdigkeiten zu kommen. Beim Bezahlen dann noch Diskussionen ber die schon geleistete Anzahlung bzw. den vereinbarten Aufpreis: Alles in Allem kein wirklich positiver Eindruck....
