The building of the hotel was built in 1879 and functioned as a town house. It was rebuilt in 1908 first and they covered the courtyard this time. There were many constructions till 1990's when the building was abandoned. The building has been operating as Hotel Central Basilica since 2007. Hotel Central Basilica is situated in the cultural, tourism and business centre of Hungary, in the adjacent of the best restaurants and entertaining places of Budapest. The hotel being surrounded by historic buildings ensures a peaceful rest by its elegant rooms and apartments for those business travelers and tourists who visit the Capital City.

- Standard room
- The Standard room offers one double or two twin beds as bedding option. Standard rooms are all very quiet and peaceful as they look into the courtyard. Each room of this type is equipped with air-condition, minibar, safety box, TV, room phone, hair-dryer and the bathroom which can be either with bath or shower, according to the guests' taste. The rooms uniformly have a mixture of blue, gold and yellow colors, which gives the feeling of the warmth of home.
- Superior rooms
- The Superior rooms offers one double or two twin beds as bedding option. The guests can have an excellent view at the Basilica. The rooms themselves are similarly well equipped as the Standard Rooms, but have an advantage of extended size and it has an extra table with 2 armchairs, just to make the stay even more enjoyable.
