Located right by the Matthias

Located right by the Matthias Church, so very near the Buda Castle but farther from the sights in Pest. Good service, reasonable breakfast, and friendly service. It was low season, so the price was very, very good and hence overall very good value.

good value and location

service was not very good - we had to wait three hours for our room and if we didnt keep bothering them we would have waited 5 hrs. The location is great and the room was nice

Great location, great price

The hotel room was spacious and wonderfully comfortable. The hotel staff were all very helpful and very nice. They arranged our cab, wake-up call, and bellman to arrive for the morning we left to the airport with one visit to the front desk. Being able to charge cabs to our room was most convenient. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Budapest.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

The Central Market Hall is a must-see. The gifts are very "touristy" but it is worth visiting to see all the wonderful produce, sausages, and meats.

Excellent service, snacks

It was worth the extra couple of bucks to stay on the executive floor -- we pretty much had a concierge all to ourselves who was very attentive and the evening snacks were enough for a meal: one night it was lamb chops! The location is also good only drawback if you spent the evening in Pest you've got two options 1) Very expensive cab, 2) Walk up about 15 flights of steps. But good exercise!
