Cute get away
the front desk staff was very helpful and pretty much gave us a tutorial of the metro system which became very useful and inexpensive. To get to the city center we HAD to take the metro. This was a little annoying but it made for a great experience, there is not better to learn a city than doing with local style. The Hotel itself was very clean and there was always some down at the desk no matter what time, this helps for travelers with jet lag

Short drive from hotel
If you were to take a taxi it would equal about 1,000 HUF which would equate to roughly to $5 and this would bring you to city center.

Perfect Budapest.
The Golden Park Hotel, It was the best the best, the staff is out of this world helpful i enjoyed my location very much. one more time it is the best.

Business visit
Practical location opposite train station. Room very very hot even with window open at night. Shower lukewarm. Reception staff not in any hurry but OK. Definitely not 4 star but still excellent value for money and everything nice and clean. Breakfast surprisingly good!

TIRED HOTEL
The carpet on the stairs and in the halls was worn and needed to be replaced. The carpet in my room was beyond needing to be replaced. The walls in my room were very dirty--scuff marks all over them. The shower was tiny--so small that I had to turn off the water to wash myself because the shower curtain kept blowing onto me and the placement of the shower valve caused me to continually hit it with my elbow while washing and either turing the water to scalding temperature or ice cold temperature. The hotel staff said the walk to the city center was 20 minutes, but it was 40 minutes to get to the heart of the city. I enjoyed the walk, but be warned. Across the street, and on the bus line (bus 173) and the Hop On Hop Off bus was the Best Western Hungaria--a much better hotel for about the same price. Stay there instead.

Don't be afraid to use the underground passages to get across the street. Much faster and safe. If you stay near the train station, the 173 bus runs up and down the main drag and is easy to use.

Change. Money at bank. Hotel pays 19000 per $100 us. The Bank pays 21300 per $10O us. A $20 difference. Don't book tours at hotel they sir charge. Better yet.DON'T STAY THERE.THERE ARE BETTER FOR YOUR MONEY. THE ASTORIA OR THE HUNGANIAN. STAY AWAY.

Hotelli mukavasti sivussa keskellä kylää
Vilkas,mukava,hyvänhajuinen,siisti,palveleva talo. Pieni huone kolmeksi yöksi just ja just riittävä, mutta ei pidemmäksi aikaa. Henkilökunta aktiivista ja keskittyi kulloisenkin asiakkaan palveluun miellyttävästi-iso plussa, mutta se teki ruuhkan respassa lähtöselvityksen aikaan (vain yksi hlö )

Ensin meille tarjottiin pienen pientä huonetta neljäksi yöksi, kyseenalaista olisivatko matkalaukkumme mahtuneet lisäksemme huoneeseen, kerroimme tyytymättömyytemme ja meille näytettiin kaksi huonetta joista saimme valita, kokonaisuutena olimme tyytyväisiä hotelliin ja sen henkilökuntaan.
