Downtown hotel takes guests back in time with traditional décor
Elegant interiors make it easy to see why the Danubius Hotel Astoria has been used for several movie shoots. A renovation in 2008 enhanced the back-in-time look. Décor features beautiful woods and upholstered furniture in traditional fabrics. Mirror Café & Restaurant serves Hungarian and international dishes. Budapest's best-known tourist attractions are within walking distance or by public transportation. Four function rooms meet the needs of business travelers in need of meeting space.

valitsimme hintaan sisältyvän aamiaisen joka oli 1 pieni kroisantti ja kahvi.ilmoittaessamme huoneen numeron meille kerrottiin ettei meille kuulu aamiaista. oli todella nöyryyttävää istua toisella puolen salia ja erityisesti henkilökunnan kohtelu tuntui ikävältä. jokaisen asiakkaan pitäisi saada tuntea olevansa tärkeä !

Sehr laut
Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut, das Hotel ist sehr zentral, dafür sehr laut. Die Angestellte sind freundlich aber waren manchmal zu kompliziert.

Zentrale Lage
Das Hotel liegt ausgesprochen zentral im Herzen Budapests. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss oder mit öffentlichem Verkehr sehr gut erreichbar. Das Hotel wurde 1914 erbaut und strahlt noch einen sehr antiken Charme aus. Die Zimmer sind angenehm, aber doch auch eher altehrwürdig. Das Hotelpersonal ist höflich und hilfsbereit.

WE in Budapest
Das Personal konnte auch Deutsch und hat uns sehr freundlich geholfen. Das Hotel hat leider kein Parkhaus, dafür gibt es ein Abkommen mit dem Franklinparkhaus, welches gleich um die Ecke liegt, da es ein vollelektronisches Hochlager ist, bestimmt die sicherste Variante um sein Auto abzustellen. Das Zimmer wie auch das Bad waren sehr sauber!! Ich kann das Hotel mit seiner Lage, dem Personal und punkto Gründlichkeit nur weiterempfehlen!!

Très bonne surprise
Hôtel de standing, très bien situé dans Budapest. Surprise sur un site tout compris de trouver un hôtel de ce niveau (pour 3 pers. : 2 grandes chambres, 2 WC, super propre...)

Le Danubius Atoria
Hôtel idéalement situé à deux pas du Danube et au centre de Pest. Seul bémol, les chambres surchauffées et la literie pas terrible, mais globalement de bonnes prestations et un personnel aimable et compétent.

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig
Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig und gleichzeitig sehr zentral, man kann zu Fuß Erkundungstouren in die Innenstadt starten. Allerdings muss man dafür starken Verkehrslärm in Kauf nehmen, denn die Kossuth Lajos utca ist eine extrem stark befahrene Straße mit sechs Spuren. Ansonsten ist das Hotel mit seinem nostalgischen Ambiente sehr empfehlenswert.

Bellissimo hotel in stile impero
Bellissimo hotel in stile impero posizionato nel cuore di Budapest. Ottimo punto di partenza sia a piedi che con i mezzi (una stazione della metropolitana si trova ad un metro dall'uscita dell'hotel) per il giro della città. Le camere arredate in stile sono state rimodernate di recente sono pulite ed accoglienti. Il personale alla reception professionale, ma non molto socievole. Colazione buona ma non eccezionale soprattuto se rapportata al prezzo 14,00 Euro- Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
