Turn-of-the-century elegance on Margaret Island
The Danubius Grand Hotel, on Margaret Island, swaddles guests in turn-of-the-century elegance. The hotel has a connecting passageway to another Danubius property, the Health Spa Resort Margitsziget. Guests enjoy easy access to all of the health spa's amenities, as well as the jogging paths, tennis courts, and other recreational facilities on the island. The on-site Restaurant Szechenyi has a garden terrace.

Amazing Hotel
I stayed for a night at the Grand in preparation for a corporate event at the island. The Grand is a historical landmark that has maintained a classy look. Room was somewhat small but it was spotless. The lobby of the hotel makes you feel you are at a five star establishment. I would definitely recommend the Grand to anyone staying in Budapest.

The location of the hotel is not easy if you want to go back and forth between the center of Budapest and the city, but it is beautiful as it is located on Margitsziget Island. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time I was there and then this location is really bad. Spa facilities are very good and the restaurant and bar are fine. Internet is NOT FREE and I had occasional connection issues from my room. I would consider staying here again if travelling with my wife, but probably will not choose it again for business trips.

Du charme & du calme
très bel emplacement et accès libre à un ensemble piscine + spa de 1°classe pour un prix très raisonnable ... qui tente de se refaire sur la restauration (pas de concurrence à proximité) : ti-déj à 15 € ... et buffet du soir à 15€ également ce qui est cher pour Budapest. Accès facile au centre ville par très bon réseau de transports.

Pro und Contra
Das Hotel war toll. Das Spa ist ebenfalls super. Minuspunkte sind ein unbequemes Bett und es war zu warm (keine gute Klimaanlage).

Hotel de luxe, calme avec équipement spa compris dans le prix. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. seul (petit) bémol : c'est un peu loin du centre ville mais le calme et la verdure n'ont pas de prix !

Schönes Hotel mit Charme mitten auf der Margarenteninsel! 5 Minuten Gehweg bis zur Brücke, wo Busse fahren. Schöne Thermenanlage und freundliches Personal.
