Budget Budapest hotel in convenient city location with lobby computer
The Anna hotel is a charming two-story yellow and white hotel tucked on a quiet street in the middle of the Budapest city center. Budget travelers to the culturally vibrant capital city of Hungary enjoy the convenient location of this friendly hotel. Guests of the Anna hotel walk just three blocks to Grand Boulevard and Blaha Lujza Square Metro, tram and bus transport hub. A restaurant co-owned by the Anna hotel is steps away from the property. Business guests make use of the lobby computer with Internet access.

- Bedrooms are medium-sized and comfortably furnished. Walls are green in colour and go well with the darker green carpet. Bedspreads are of a floral design and the furniture is light coloured wood. The rooms are pleasant and in good condition. Bathrooms are small and white tiled. Most have showers except for the apartments.

- The restaurant is small in size but has an open and light feel to it. Dark furniture has been used, but as the paintwork is pale yellow in colour and there is plenty of natural light, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. There is also an excellent restaurant owned by the hotel just opposite the entrance to the hotel. The food here is first class and well worth a visit.

Clean rooms, moderate price, friendly staff
The Hotel Anna is centrally located in the city on the Pest side.It was very convenient.The Metro is about 3 blocks away,and I discovered an absolutely wonderful restaurant two blocks away. The food was fantastic. I did not eat at the hotel's owned restaurant although it is closer. The prices there were higher, and the food photos were not appealing. The breakfast at the hotel was included and it was adequate. I enjoyed the braided bread for my toast. I did not care for their coffee but found a 24 coffee place again 3 blocks away where I would get my coffee in the morning.The rooms are clean and very simple. The best thing was to be so close to the city yet it was very quiet and peaceful at night.The bed was comfortable. I liked that there was plenty of storage for my things with a closet with several shelves. They also had a room safe which allowed me to leave money and my passport without concern in my room. My only complaint was that the bathroom smelled of sulphur which was not a pleasant smell. However I did adjust to it. My girlfriend had a room on the same floor in the next section and her bathroom did not smell that way at all. All things combined, I would recommend this hotel to a friend. It was all that i needed and I traveled alone for the most part and felt safe. the staff were always friendly and helpful. The free internet in the lobby allowed me to keep in touch with my family. The lobby was very nicely appointed with comfortable leather couches.

Short walk from hotel
I would like to recommend the restaurant Bastya Bisztro,two blocks from the hotel.The decor was modern and attractive. The food was superb and beautifully presented. They offer 30% off all of their meals if you eat before 4:00 PM.
