Well located in Koowlon

This hotel gets you a feeling of being an extra in Chunking Express (the famous movie by Wong Kar Wai) just stepping out and then you'll by in one of the most crowded and diverse places in the planet. Staff were nice and helpful and the breakfast was awesome. Everything famous in Koowlon is close by, be it Mong Kok, the avenue of starts (with Bruce Lee), the China ferry terminal and places with all kinds of wonderful food. So, a good place to stay in the amazing city of Hong Kong.

Doesn't get better than this!

Luxe Manor is a great hotel! Upon arrival the staff were friendly and had the room I requested ready to check in. Yes, the room is not as large as a U.S. hotel, but it was clean and comfortable for two people, with no smell of cigarettes or other odors. The bathroom was nice with lots of amenities, and there was a mobile phone in the room that was free to use if I wanted to take it with me while I toured the city. Breakfast was great, with a large Western and Asian spread to fit anyones taste. Wifi signal was strong and easy to connect. Hotel location was great, Nathan Rd was a block away, subway was three blocks, and harbor walk and museums were five blocks from the hotel. Nathan Rd has a huge selection of shopping and restaurants with lots of side streets to satisfy anyones tastes. If I make it back to Hong Kong the Luxe Manor will be my first choice.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

To get from the airport take the Airport Express rail to Kowloon station and then free shuttle bus (number K4) that drops and picks up right in front of the hotel.

Great location - fun room

Great location in TST - unique decor and very friendly and helpful staff, especially at the restaurant. Ammenities average and one of the restaurants was undergoing rennovations. Great value and would stay again.

Awesome value in HK

Great rate for a great boutique hotel. Interesting, yet cool theme to hotel and room. Checkin staff gave me complimentary room upgrade--set tone for great stay. Buffet breakfast was surprisingly good with a wide variety of options--fruits and hot breakfast. Wifi worked well. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. About a 10 minute walk from MTR. Stayed only 1 night, but would stay again without a doubt.

Good Value

My only complaint was the location in a nondescript neighborhood but within walking distance of international outlets. Restaurants were not very attractive, and this Chinese hotel featured a Finnish chef with Scandinavian specialties. That said, the staff was very helpful and concerned that I got what I needed. I was recovering there from jet lag on my way to a longer, organized tour of Viet Nam and Cambdia. Breakfast was very generous and varied. My room was clean and well equipped.

Weirdbut good.

This was a weird looking hotel. The lobby was very [*] and the room was the campiest room I have ever stayed in. The staff did not explain very well that they 'booked' a goodly portion of my credit card, so I was shocked to find on sunday evening that I did not have enough credit left to purchase the camera I had been coveting for about a year, and one of the reasons for my trip to HK. . This rather spoilt the place for me then, after what had been a peaceful stay. The charges for laundry were very steep, and despite 4 nights costing the guts of 500euros I had extra charges of about 90euros to pay!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Great lunch place 5 doors up towards Nathan Road end. Cheap and authentic. Can wholeheartedly recommend the prawn wonton soup. Nicely spiced with white pepper and made with very good stock. I do not recommend room service food in the Luxe Manor. The night I arrived ordered a lamb bolognese(yes I know, but I was hungry) and it cost 148hk dollars(eek). It was a portion that wouldn't feed my 8 yr old

Great boutique hotel in downtown Kowloon

I really liked this hotel. It was in a great central location near the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station in downtown Kowloon, Hong Kong. I could walk to the waterfront as well as the museum of History and the markets. I didn't look at the pool (not sure they had one) or fitness center so I can't talk about them but I felt the overall experience was great. The room was clean. It was quiet. The decor was really different and fun. They brought a little mini dessert every night which I thought was a nice touch. I thought the room service was fast and the food was good. The breakfasts were very good.
