Solid hotel for business trip
Prompt, courteous staff. Room was clean and functional. Internet connection seemed a bit slow, but that could be due to access of US-based websites, i.e. search engines

The stay was ok and average but
The stay was ok and average but the one thing I must mention was I particularly booked for a smoking room, however when I arrived they said the whole hotel is non-smoking rooms. I was disappointed much, cos I wasn't being told before I confirm the booking and when I was doing the booking on line, no replying email saying that Garden View has no smoking room facilities. Please make note with this, if next time the guests want a smoking room, please let then know is available or not before the booking confirmation, but not at the door step when they check in. Thanks for your time and kindness, bests with your business!

Great location!
This hotel is in a great location and you can easily walk everywhere, to Central,the Star Ferry and all the other ferries to outlying Islands, the MTR and busses. You are also right next to the Peak Tram that takes you up to Victoria Peak. There is even a stop right on Macdonell Rd, next to the hotel. The rooms are quite small but very nice and clean, modern and the beds were very comfortable. For us it didn't matter that the rooms were small, we came back at night after a full day of sightseeing and just fell right in to bed! We did have a nice view of central! I think its a bargain for the price we paid! Will stay there again if I come back to Hong Kong.

Good Location and Comfortable Rooms..
Good central location. Rooms are new, well-maintained and quite comfortable with some nice views of the park and mid-levels. There is a supermarket in the building behind, which is very convenient. Location is very close to central, but since it is in the mid-levels, the walk back uphill can be tiresome. However, there is almost always an available cab outside and the cost of taking a cab to or from central is very reasonable.

Great location!
Surrounded by all you need. Botanical Gardens, grocery store, taxi service, five and dime around corner. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the language gap.

The shopping was fantastic! Malls galore. Boutiques and markets within a ten minute cab ride or bus. Hong Kong is the fashion capital of the world!
