A little flash enlivens a business hotel near Mong Kok

hotel was great, lot of refurbishment going on in the hotel and shopping mall attached , but did not spoil our time there.watching the trains coming through whle having a meal in la scala was interesting. Variety of food was something amazing, never seen such variety , on our travels using a 5* hotels ( which is Many). Location was ideal with the bird, flower,ladies and goldfish streets close by. Free shuttle down to near central pier one thing to say if any one is going from november 2012 to late autumn 2013 the health club will be closed

if you have to spread out cost eating go into the shopping mall, go upstairs to the food hall a large selection of cooked meals at very cheap prices plus you can try different types of chinese,korean and japaneese VERY TASTY!!!

It was one of the best hotels we stayed at. Good security and fast check in & out procedure. It was 1 min walk to Mong Kok East station which is almost at the heart of Kawloon. We walked (8 mins) to Monk Kok station instead which is very easy for tube connections and right by all the shopping districts. Rooms were very clean and big, unusual for Hong Kong hotels in general. The only complain I have is that the outdoor pool temperature was a little cold for swimming in November time, certainly too cold for my 4 year old daughter. Also the toilet in the room for some reason was making a lot of noise everytime someone flashed from the room above. The beds were heavily - goose down pillows and quilts, bed wasn't too soft so we slept like babies every night. Bless!

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you follow the sign you can just walk to Mong Kok station from the hotel, instead of taking different connetions from Mong Kok East station where the hotel is situated. It's only a 8 minute walk but it's sheltered most of the ways and you can reach the busiest shopping streets that way.

Nice hotel, not an ideal location though.
I had a standard room and it needed some updating, but the hotel itself was very nice. It's connected to a large shopping mall but it's a bit of a cab ride away from TST. The pool / spa was very nice. For the price, it was overall a good hotel experience.

Excellent location, close to all
Excellent location, close to all amenities. 5 min. walk from Mongkok East station and 10 min. walk from Prince MTR station. The hotel staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. I stayed on the 19th floor. It has one of the best power shower. I would definitely recommend it.

A great stay in Royal Plaza Hotel Hong Kong with my husband and my baby boy. The hotel provide baby cot for free. The room are big and comfortable. The staff are friendly.Hotel location is great. Near to MRT station. Can get lot of good food around the hotel. Will stay again in Royal Palza Hotel for my next visit.
