Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at this hotel as our son was getting married there. The room at 28 sq.mtrs. was large by HK standards and was equipped to a high standard. We enjoyed an ever changing view of the harbour (worth paying extra for that). The wedding reception was very well organised and enjoyable. We had a continental breakfast in our room on two occasions, the last being before our departure at 5.45am.

Typical of the Marriott franchise, the RHaborView is run like like a well oiled machine. I will continue to visit this particular hotel without reserve.

This hotel was everything I hoped for. Whilst the rooms were small they were lovely and I was lucky enough to get a view over the harbour which was stunning. It was a great location and very easy to get to the metro. The pool area was fantastic too. I found all the staff to be very helpful. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have wi-fi in the bedroom but this is a very minor point.

I left box in taxi when i arrived, the next day i found out that it did not come to room. before i could do anything.. the girl from behind desk ([...]) called taxi companies and found box, one hour later i had it..WOW!!! Loved the place

Very convinience if you have go to HK (Wanchai) convention centre for trade show. TV is old junk with 10 years history or more ! with the price paid for and 5 Star international rated hotel, one will expected to have the latest flat screen TV ! All good except too pricy if you want to stay during the trade fair period !

This hotel is in a magnificent location, in terms of views as well as shopping and access to transportation. My room was a good size and equipped with every convenience as well as incredibly comfortable beds. You don't hear the traffic or any neighbours. Waking up and seeing Victoria Harbour and Kowloon stretching out in front of you is great! a heated swimming pool and tennis courts in absolutely stunning setting:a lovely chinese garden, lunch terrace, views of skyscrapers and the harbour. Breakfast is a banquet of tasty specialities. It's next to the metro station and tram lines (accessible by a covered walkway directly from the hotel) Harbour ferries leave from a pier in front of the hotel, also a stop for the hop-on hop-off tourist buses. The staff is perfectly kind and helpful, speaking English. There is a travel agent in the lobby. You might want a boutique hotel for a second visit to Hong Kong, but I recommend this one for comfort, service and convenience in your first stay!

I am very dissaponted with Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel .Very noisy hotel, construction noise all day, on the top hotel management allows weeding parties to be conducted inside the rooms and along the hallways. I flew in for a long 22 hrs flight but could not get the rest the first day due to construction noise, second daw woke up due to wedding party being held next to my room and alomst 50 people standing along the hallways singing and laughing. I made a complaint to the hotel managment but instaed of stipping the wedding I was lectured on Chinese tradions, their values and importance of weddings. Amenities were terrible, old & cheap funiture. Overprice hotel for $200-$300 /night you can find lot more options in Hong Kong. I would stay away from this Hotel.

Good harbour view, abit pricy but bad check in service

A nice hotel located at a convienant loaction. Close to a 7/11 so there is no problem getting snacks and drinks. The house keeping knocked on my door at 8:00 am. Is this appropiate even I am up and start packing? TV is old and small ( 17" - 21" ). Most of the hotels I stayed the past 3 years have LCD or Plasma ( 32" at least )
