Good Location, Close to Shopping

My mom and I stayed at the Regal Hotel for a 10-day trip. It is close to shopping and the MTR station is 10 minute walk from the hotel. The room is spacious in Hong Kong standard. We got a free upgrade and stayed on the 27th floor. The staff is friendly. The only improvement is the shower head that it is way up near the ceiling that it is impossible to reach it and adjust the angle. Please consider having a handheld shower. My mom is older and ended up using the bathtub for bath instead of shower.

There is a 24hr foodstand with soymilk, glutinous riceball. We went there for breakfast and midnight snack.

three star at best

Not the best stay, room was small and with a musty smell. Listed as five star but more like three. Booked two nights but left for another true five star on second night. Regal would not refund the second night. Would not recommend this hotel.

Very nice room

The hotel staff were very efficient. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable but the thermostat did not seem to be working as it was cold all the time even after changing the setting. The lobby has nowhere for people to sit while waiting except in the lobby restaurant where there is a minimum charge so if you want to wait in the lobby you have to pay them or stand up.

I stayed at the Regal Royale room

I stayed at the Regal Royale room and the room was excellent - very spacious by HK standards with high ceilings. There was also a deluxe continental breakfast that was actually more like a full breakfast, with sausages and eggs and bacon etc. Service was again good, with staff that remembered my name and was very helpful in arranging the complimentary shuttle service to and fro the airport for me. There was nothing much to complain about, except perhaps the lack of seating in the lobby area.

Good quality, helpful staff

Only complaint was that internet was extra. Very near MTR station. I would probably stay here again if still lowest price for 5 star on HK island. But if you want to party every night, stay closer to LKF instead.

super conveniently located

Regal HK is very conveniently located at the heart of Causeway Bay, the most vibrant shopping district in Hong Kong. Everything is close by and best if you are carrying a lot of shopping bags. Hotel service is top notch, friendly staff who understand English and have the power adapter free to borrow. The only downside is internet is 170 HKD a day... then again, didn't need it.

Outside of Causeway Bay exit C has all kinds of cuisine and reasonable pricing. Walk west (towards Wanchai) for even cheaper restaurants.

The location is very good. The

The location is very good. The causeway bay MTR is nearby within walking distance (5mins). Easy to get food, there are many small local eateries just across the road at the nearby streets. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner in all the local eateries, forget about the hotel food (have not tried it, save my stomach for the local authetic fare). stay on 15 storey twin sharing room, room is quite big, simple decor, clean bed. pipe in music available in the bathroom, there's a shower and a bathtub. The complimentary shuttle to and fro airport was a convenient service for us, but you have to inform them early and choose the right timing when you leave for the airport. certain timing the shuttle will have to go to more hotel to pick up passenger on the way to the airport, and that will take a longer time. i chose the 855am slot, which only stop at regal hongkong and regal kowloon then straight to airport, so not too bad compare to what others have to go through.

This is a hotel that I will recommend. At the promotional price that paid, it is very value for money since the room is larger than I expected.
