Stay central, connected and classy on the quiet side of Tsim Sha Tsui
Not to be confused with the sister property near the central waterfront, InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong delivers InterContinental comfort and style at less glitzy rates. Located in Tsim Sha Tsui East, the hotel provides convenient access to the MTR system as well as local museums, shopping and dining. A clutch of good restaurants and lounges take care of hunger and thirst pangs, while stress relief can be found in the lovely recreation areas.
Highlights
- Beautiful outdoor pool lined with natural stone and mosaic
- Central, yet pleasantly removed location in Tsim Sha Tsui East
- The comforts of five-star luxury at less-astronomical rates
Rooms
- Guests should be sure to book a view room, as many have lovely garden and harbor views. All rooms are suitably spacious and include broadband Internet access, mini bar, in-room safe and beds with feather and down duvets and extra-long pillows. Bathroom design features marble detailing and integrated tub and shower.
- The Club InterContinental Lounge offers exclusive check-in and check-out, free Internet and complimentary food and beverages throughout the day. In-room perks include daily newspaper, daily fresh fruit and complimentary wired or wireless Internet.
Features
Situated in convenient Tsim Sha Tsui East, the friendly InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong is fortunately removed from the crowds and noise of the central waterfront area. The business center offers use of a boardroom and full secretarial services. On-site restaurants Hoi King Heen and The Mistral serve good Cantonese and Italian cuisine, respectively, while the bar features live music most nights.
A heated rooftop pool is ringed by a pleasant wooden deck that includes a misted area. Separated into two sections, the fitness center is spacious and quite good for hotel standards. Two spas, one exclusively for men, offer treatments and services.

Nice, but Still Overpriced
For the price we paid, still did not included internet connection, and it was very un-popular by my family. Lobby is congested and the view was OK. The staff is not as well trained for guest service focus. (For example, my children arrived earlier than us, and we want them to get into one of the two rooms, they asked for a credit card and deposit.) It is a good hotel, but I still think it does not worth for the charge.

Wow - what a view
check - in was quick and easy. Smart people at the desk. The views and the rooms were spectacular. I stayed at the much more expensive intercon 3 weeks earlier - and love this hotel so much more. You can still walk to the star ferry in 10 minutes and great dining and shopping all around

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
I thought the good shopping would be a taxi ride away - but such favourites as Rio Pearl and 1000 shops in-between the hotel and there abound. I thought it would be too far out, as I like ' the Peninsula' neighborhood, but it's literally only a 20 minute walk . It's my new home in HK

Hotel and staff where excellent,
Hotel and staff where excellent, the room was a excellent size, the reason for me booking this hotel was due to the fact that it said that it had a Laundry service and laundry facilities (which to me means i can do my own washing)as i had 5 days in Singapore and then a 5 night cruise so had plans of doing a bit of washing but it didn't have this so i had to either hand wash or pay! So i guess you could say our room looked like a chinese laundy at times.

Great hotel for business
One week in Hong Kong for business and this hotel filled all my needs. Great location: short walk from entrance to East TST station. Many very good restaraunts close by - and a Starbucks. Staff could not be more helpful.

Money-saving tip:
In Hotel
Ask about a special deal to pay for breakfast and internet with a daily rate. I find that almost all hotels in Hong Kong charge extra for internet.
