Like it

We stayed in Club 65. It has an amazing harbor view. It has a great pool and exercise room. Everything is so new and modern. The shuttle can bring you to the center of TST. Will stay there again.

Good Hotel, reasonable location, Great staff

This hotel is modern, clean, with a reasonably good location. The staff are attentive, and hard working. The location is outside the main Nathan Rd area with a 15 minute walk, or a free shuttle bus into Kowloon centre, or the Ferry terminal. A harbour view room is recommended. All rooms are comfortable and modern. Food in the hotel is expensive but fairly good standard. Drinks are also expensive. The free mini bar and coffee (in the room) counters the expensive restaurant prices.

Great new hotel near TST.

This hotel is a new addition to the rather crowded hotel scene in Kowloon. It does manage to stand out from the rest of the big-name crowd though through funky room design and perks such as free WiFi throughout the hotel and free mini-bar. Rooms are of a good size, clean and well furnished. The common areas are equally good. They are still only a few months old and some of the staff are actually hospitality students from the Polytechnic next door so they are still going through the pains of growing up, however don't let that deter you for one second as everyone in this hotel has been very professional and friendly. Definitely recommended.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

An excellent seafood place is just a short 100-150 meter walk from the hotel. Exit through the front door and turn right. Cross the street at the crosswalk and you're already there! Can't miss the lobster in the sign. Also, across from it there is a tiny Pizza place if you feel homesick or just need some western fare. It's rather delicious. Another 20 meters or so from the Pizza place there is a Forzen Yogurt place which is just simply amazing stuff! The most delicious FroYo I've ever had anywhere in the world! Definitely recommended. It's about HKD 10-20.

regualr visit to hong kong

Tried this new hotel as an alternative to Langham. really liked the hotel. Everythig was new and clean. One small observations. the shower was narrow and I am not a big man. It always bothers me when the water sprays out into the bathroom floor. As a middle aged business traveller who regularly visits hong kong and southern china my experince was very positive. while the location was not the best for shopping it was remarkably convenint for KTT to china.

Great new hotel

I have stayed there twice during the 'soft opening' and it is a great hotel and will be even better once it is fully complete. The buffet dinner in the restaurant upstairs is outstanding and rivals the popular buffet at the Intercontinental. The rooms are modern and comfortable. I haven't had a chance to check out the pool, but I'm sure it will be great, if the other amenities are any indication.

New kid on the block!

Very enjoyable stay. Hotel slightly off the beaten track in Hung Hom. Good views of Hong Kong harbour. Good commuting possibilities, hotel bus, MTR, bus, taxi. Visited a number of museums in the area and downtown in Kowloon. As expected, lots of shopping and I bought a high-end laptop at Fortress and electronic goods at Broadway. Both offer good service and I didn't have to haggle. Tried plenty of food outlets and dined out 3 times. Hotel Icon is not 5-star (yet). I've stayed in better and more luxurious hotels. However, the staff are friendly and helpful and they were eager to please. All in all, an enjoyable holiday.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Harbour City has two excellent electronics outlets, Fortress and Broadway. Plenty of high-end shops and an excellent deli and supermarket.
