Final 3 days of our holiday

This hotel was fantastic! We were made to feel very welcome, they couldn't do more for us!! All the staff were genuine and really willing to help with any queries or recommendations. I have to highlight Andy at the concierge desk, he was so polite and went out of his way and made us feel really welcome.

Couldn't ask for more

As first time visitors to Hong Kong we relied upon online reviews but we never expected to be made so welcome. We arrived early without notice but our room was made available with a smile. Throughout our stay we were made welcome. Every member of staff we encountered was happy to go that extra mile, whether to give us directions, recommend sights to see or bring us the things we'd forgotten from home. The room itself wasn't huge, but elegantly decorated and expertly appointed. A wonderful surprise was a cell phone that we could use anywhere in Hong Kong. It included free data allowing us to make use of the HK tourist apps, and free calls around town and even home to Australia. The view over the harbour was breathtaking, exactly as shown on the website. On our next trip to HK we will definitely revisit the Icon, as much for the service as the facilities. Thanks guys, all of you!

The highlight of our trip was a short ferry ride to Macao to see The House of Dancing Water. A theatrical circus extravaganza of light, sound and breathtaking gymnastics on a stage that was on water one minute, and solid the next. Nothing short of spectacular.

Best hotel in HK

A coworker actually recommended this hotel because of the rooftop pool. This hotel is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. A few great perks: 1. Handy Smart phone provided by hotel for the duration of your stay that allows you unlimited international and local calls and internet access 2. TV in the bathtub ;) 3. Amazing view of Hong Kong island from the gym 4. Rooftop pool My only compliant would be the taxi service. I had to travel to the other side daily for work and cabs do not want to take the tunnel because of peak time traffic.

A truly aspirational hotel

This is a great example of how all hotels should be run...free wifi...good service...no penny pinching..even free mini bar...the rooms have all the lastest technology and are a good size...views are interesting..this is Hong Kong after all..beds comfortable but firm......one thing to be aware of though ..the first switch in the entrance is the privacy switch..not a light...don't leave it on if you want your room serviced.
