New kid on the block!

Very enjoyable stay. Hotel slightly off the beaten track in Hung Hom. Good views of Hong Kong harbour. Good commuting possibilities, hotel bus, MTR, bus, taxi. Visited a number of museums in the area and downtown in Kowloon. As expected, lots of shopping and I bought a high-end laptop at Fortress and electronic goods at Broadway. Both offer good service and I didn't have to haggle. Tried plenty of food outlets and dined out 3 times. Hotel Icon is not 5-star (yet). I've stayed in better and more luxurious hotels. However, the staff are friendly and helpful and they were eager to please. All in all, an enjoyable holiday.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Harbour City has two excellent electronics outlets, Fortress and Broadway. Plenty of high-end shops and an excellent deli and supermarket.
