Room was comfortable, but nothing fancy. Awkward that shower/bathroom wall was tinted glass that was essentially see-through (was sharing room with a friend and not a romantic partner). Automated curtains that closed at 11pm were fun, but sort of
an extravagance compared to rest of room.
Highest rating for "bang-for-buck". The room was on the small side, but not tiny. It was quite comfortable, nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a selection of pillows. Breakfast is included - a very good buffet with a selection of
both European/American and Chinese breakfast choices. Internet is also included. The location is very convenient, one block from the train and walkable to most business offices in downtown Hong Kong. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Hong Kong.
The location of the hotel is near Sheung Wan station, about 5 minutes by foot. The location is not so bad as there are restuarants and other eateries near the area. It's about 20 minutes by foot from Central station.
The facilities are okay, I
guess because the hotel is relatively new. There is no gym, no spa, just a restaurant and a nice laundry area where you can do your own wash.
The rooms are nice, with comfy beds - perhaps the pillows were to soft for me, I would've wanted something more firm. The bathroom is decent and they clean-up well everyday.
The breakfast buffet is okay, however, they don't change it so you get sick of it after a few days.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever you need.
