As the name implies, this hotel on the Golden Mile is smart, polished and a fantastic deal. The mood at Eaton is fun, yet professional and the design sophisticated and stylish. Balancing amenities for work and play, the function rooms provide many options for business meetings while a lovely rooftop pool and bar help guests unwind. Everything is capably run by attentive, smiling staff.

Rooms

Standard room amenities include iPod dock, broadband Internet access, flat-screen TV and classic cherry furniture. Ceiling moldings, dark wood and sliding window-shade panels create a polished look. Distinctive details include the rounded wall of windows in city club rooms, and high-tech work spaces in BizSuites. Various bathrooms are outfitted with rain shower heads, others with bathtubs.

Property features

If it were not for the wonderfully attentive staff, the hotel's good looks would lose a bit of sheen. Luckily, the guest experience is as attractive as the stylish décor. A newly renovated lobby and garden area welcomes guests. Visit the inviting rooftop pool for a drink at the poolside bar or head to an adjacent 24-hour fitness center featuring state-of-the-art equipment, free weights and Wii Fit. Seven restaurants and bars in the hotel include a relaxed outdoor patio bar, a Japanese izakaya (pub-style restaurant) and Yat Tung Heen, serving dim sum and other Cantonese delights. Several function rooms provide elegant backdrops for business meetings or social events run by professional event management staff. The executive club lounge is spacious with plenty of cozy seating, an extensive library and all-day snacks and drinks.

nice hotel, great staff

The Eaton hotel was very nice. The room was not large but very clean and had everything we needed. It had a mini bar, snacks, free wi if and free bottled water. The restaurants were very good. We had the express breakfast plan and it was great! Close to the temple Street night market and within walking distance to the ferry pier. About a 10-15 minute walk. Also close to the subway stations. We were very pleased. They even had a birthday cake delivered to our room for my husbands birthday, not requested and very delicious. We would definately stay here again. The staff spoke English and all were very nice!

Great Location

The Eaton is centrally located for easy access to the Mtr, Ladies Market, Jade Market, Mong Kok, Temple Street Midnight Market, eateries, etc. We were disappointed in the air condition cooling (thermostat had to be turned to its lowest for the room to cool) and the wifi was under duress. There was a letter in our room notifying us of the impending service. However, the service was never up to par over the three day stay. Overall it was a very good stay!

Eaton Hotel - May 2015

The Eaton Hotel have great prices for rooms in a good location, close to all of the excitement that Jordan in Hong Kong provides, shopping, restaurants etc. Unfortunately the room was a little tired although I am told that they are undergoing refurbishment works, they had not reached the room that I stayed in The hotel offers a gluten free breakfast option and this is one of the reasons it was chosen I ordered room service, a sandwich with gluten free bread, but unfortunately the bread was filled with the dryest chicken and bacon that I have ever been presented with, along with green lettuce that was yellow! Needless to say, it was inedible and the next morning I complained to the Restaurant Manager. He was very apologetic and refunded the cost of the sandwich. After this experience, I didn't stay for breakfast! In summary, a good hotel, in a prime location but if you are looking for a great gluten free breakfast, you may want to re-think. It is unfortunate as the number of establishments in Hong Kong offering a gluten free option is very, very limited and to find a hotel which offers this service is a real bonus, but, they do need to provide a gluten free option that you can actually eat. In this instance, this was not the case The Restaurant Manager is looking into how the Hotel can improve the quality of the gluten free options that they provide and I hope that the Hotel will find a suitable solution

Great Hotel

The hotel is excellent value, particularly the Club rooms where you can access the E Club daily. The staff are extremely helpful. The hotel is located near the Jordan MTR and so transport around the area is very straightforward. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Solid hotel for single & business travelers

Have stayed at the Eaton several times already. Overall it's a solid hotel for single and business travelers. It's located in the heart of Tsim Tsha Tsui and less than a block away from the Temple Street Night Market. The MTR station is also only 1 block away. If you're looking for something clean and convenient, this is the place. Be warned that the breakfast buffet is a little pricey at slightly over $20 USD. My suggestion would be to just take a walk outside and you can find plenty of inexpensive places to eat, including breakfast.
