Fantastic in every way!
We used the hotel concierge to take a guided tour to see the Mayan ruins in Copan. The tour guide couldn't have been better. It's Maya tours and [...] was by far the best. It's very professional. We ate at the hotel often and the food was excellent, as was service. The pool was wonderfully relaxing, room was clean and overall it was a very positive experience. We would highly recommend it. We also used only hotel taxis and they were excellent.

Just an okay stay.
Visited for 2 nights from the U.S. to attend World Cup Qualifying soccer match between Honduras and the U.S. While hotel was pretty nice, I expected the food quality to be higher -- in taste, presentation and service. Also, my room was over the pool and there was a large party until 3 a.m. Very noisy and disturbing. The hotel staff should not have allowed anything past midnight as a courtesy to the other guests.

Great location
The Intercontinental Real Hotel in San Pedro Sula was conveniently located for us being we were visiting family all over Honduras. Although my husband and I were out of the hotel most of the time, the staff was very helpful and curtious. When we arrived back at the hotel no matter the hour we were able to get anything we needed from food to money exchanged. The room we had was very comfortable and clean. I plan to return again in a couple of months and would highly recommend this Hotel.
