good choice for a short stay in sps
I stayed here one night before a flight out of san pedro sula. [...] It is located 2 blocks from a handicrafts market and a food market, that had good, cheap honduran food, and is on the city's main square. there is also a very good coffee place, kafe ke around the corner. The hotel's pool was a good place to hang out for a couple of hours to beat the heat. I felt safe in the hotel. The room was large, a little dark and a little dated, but clean and comfortable. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the airport, and about the same from the city's central bus terminal.

beware
They did not honour their price of $29.00. charged $50.00. Who's fault this is I don't know. I will however, never use that hotel again or your services.

Fantastic Fam Reunion
I stayed at the hotel for the beginning and the end of a 3 week vacay. The staff remembered us being that i arrived before my parents, they were great with placing them in the room next to mine. The luggage guy was the sweetest. It was so hot in San Pedro when we arrived and we went all around the Centro to find food not knowing there was a restaurant in the hotel. Let's just say we didnt leave the hotel after that for food. The Italian Spaghetti was the best. Even my neice enjoyed the food and she is a picky eater. All in all the staff is great, food is great. I would definetly recommend. Believe me I stayed here years ago, they've renovated...BIG DIFFERENCE!

hotel stay
It was a nice stay but the only thing aggravating was trying to exchange currency with the hotel cashier. Most of the time she was never there when she was suppose to because she was having personal conversations. Sometimes they didnt have enough money to exchange or would limit how much u can exchange a day.

Not the best value for your money
The hotel is old and expensive for what they offer. I think I got the last room of the building and I had all air conditioning equipment right next to me. I have no problems to sleep but I'm pretty sure everyone else would. Everything looked old to me and there was a bad smell around one of the beds. The bathroom needs to be renovated. It is right in front of the main plaza but I went out at night and it didn't seem to me safe enough. Breakfast at the restaurant was good although I was surrounded by many city drunks.

Good for business
This hotel is great if you are traveling on a medium budget (good quality and reasonable price). It can be a bit noisy if you want a more peaceful stay.

Very family friendly
I recommend the cafeteria very highly. Excellent service. The location of the hotel was very good in downton San Pedro Sula. A lot of taxi driving by in front of the hotel. This location is excellent for the business traveler. My room was in the fifth floor facing the park.
