The Splash Inn is a great little hotel suited for divers. There is no pool but you are right across from the ocean so who needs a pool? The staff are friendly and the onsite dive shop is great! Would certainly stay again.
The best part of staying at Splash was the proximity to restaurants, convenience stores and beaches. The hotel is NOT fancy so if that is what you are looking for this hotel is not for you.
A refrigerator in the rooms would have made the stay a
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
The best beach is West Bay (not to be confused with West End) which is only a short distance on the Water Taxi for $2.50 per person each way. The quietest part of West Bay is at the far end. The water seemed warmer and the fish were visible without any gear.
This is a nice smaller hotel in the middle of the West End district. The hotel has their own restaurant, dive shop and dock all very close together. They clean the rooms daily and provide fresh sheets and towels. It is an overall good value, but
it is not a 5-star hotel. If you want really nice hotels, go to West Bay not West End.
