Excellent for your stay in Guatemala
One of the more high end hotels in Guatemala City. Located in one of the safest zones. Designed to withstand earthquakes. The room was great with very cold AC. Water pressure was good. The staff friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the $12 daily fee for Internet access and the mini-bar items are very high priced. Room service food was excellent and reasonably priced, nice bar, and a couple of restaurants. There seemed to be lots of groups taking advantage of the many conference rooms. Bed sheets were of high quality and so were the pillows. Great place if you are on a business trip or vacationing.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you exit the hotel entrance and turn right, make a right when you get to the first intersection, walk two blocks and there is a large shopping center with all types of stores. Including a large Siman store which is the equivalent of a Macy's in the US. Safe walk during the day, might want to take a cab at night. Also several local restaurants, shops and Office Depot along the walk.

Great business hotel.
My business trip to Guatemala City required frequent trips to various other offices. Most of these were in Zone 10, 09 or 14 which was convenient ride (taxi or friends ) form the hotel. Internet worked well and wake call even at 3:30 AM were on time. Restaurant for breakfast meetings ideal. Will use Westin Camino Real Hotel on future trips.

Just what was needed
The shuttle bus was waiting for us at the airport and transfer to the hotel was very comfortable and took only about 10 minutes. Check was efficient and friendly and the room was just what was needed with a California king size bed and quality linens as wall as good quality toiletries, coffee and tea. The tertiery glazing on the windows meant no noise entered the room from the street and light blocking curtains made sure we were not woken early by the sun. I was so tired when I arrived for my vacatoin, after 4 days I feel totally refreshed.

Great service and location in Guatemala
We were there to meet as a family while our daughter does a semester abroad to learn Spanish. We played a lot of tennis and worked out. Exercise is important to our family, so booked because of the tennis courts. We ate in the hotel a lot. You should advertise your coffee place, Cafe Vienes, more because nicer atmosphere and smaller. Restaurants are pricey, although food and service are excellent. Please make sure the spa booking service knows exactly when tennis courts are taken, as we had trouble getting a court even though we had called ahead.

expensive for the city
The hotel is in a great location. They charged me $8.00 for 45 minutes of internet use! The staff is unhelpful in solving issues.
