Unforgettable Vacations
I was very disappointed of the customer service they provided. People at front desk were not very friendly. The maintenance of the hotel was not good. For this hotel to be located in the area that it is, you expect something better.

Gymnastic international competition
I went to guatemala for a gymnastic international meet with 6 girls and 10 parents the hotel said that kids were free but two parent had to book a room for three to have their 9 year old girl with them other parent wanted a room for 4 (mother grand pa grand ma and a 8 year old girl they had to book two rooms and the girl paid full price! Hotel is clean and very convenient to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lunch and dinner buffet had several choices and plenty of food. Price was reasonable at $17. Soft drinks on the other hand in the restaurant are very high priced.

Nice Family Stay
The hotel was only close to fast food restaurants. There was a store nearby, but the malls were a fair distance. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially the shuttle drivers. Also, the hotel restaurant was excellent. Both the food and the service. I would recommend this hotel to others. Two problems we had, were the air conditioner leaked water onto the carpet and we had to return to the front desk multiple times to get our key card reset.

Short drive from hotel
Talk to the shuttle drivers and for a tip they will give you a ride to nearby shopping malls. Much safer than taxis.

Good service, Great food
Lo bueno: Good service, friendly staff. Excellent buffets, with fresh ingredients, good variety, huge dessert table. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good fitness center/gym Un poco menos: Spotty wi-fi on one of the 4 days I stayed Location is ok, but not in heart of Zona Viva like Barcelo, Holiday Inn, etc. It's a 6-block taxi ride. Supermarket 1/2 block away is nice.

The best hotel dinner I have ever had
The room was clean and bed comfortable and the staff was ok. I loved the buffet in the restaurant, the grilled meats were great. My only complaint was they forgot my wake-up call; luckily I set two alarms for my 4:30 AM time since I have learned not to trust wake-up calls when I am out of the country; however, I do expect more out of a Crowne Plaza so I gave it 3 stars instead of 4. I could have missed my plane.

Great location and room! The staff was a bit snooty. The bath didn't have a ventilation fan for the steam. Didn't know we were a party of three, not one.

Upset traveler
UGH!
Don't get me wrong the hotel was clean, other staff were extremely great but the pm girl at the front desk. For some strange reason she took it upon herself to not honor my [...] reservation and denied me a second room. She would not offer a courtesy phone call to [...]. She was just plain RUDE! My husband, teenage daughter and myself were cramped in one room on our last night in Guatemala.

Lovely hotel. Very comfortable.
Arrived late and tired, left early for airport. The hotel was perfect for our stay. Clean, very close to airport, free shuttle, very good restuarant, great price, good value, friendly staff, good service, and the room was very elegant. All in all... perfect for us. The one exception was the room had an adjoining room door and the guests in the next room had their TV on load and pretty late in the evening. Get a room with no adjoining door.
