It's always great to go to Antigua, Guatemala. The trip is even better when you spen it in such great hotel. Great service. Great rooms. The rooms could use a little more lighting though. But overall, it was great.

Ask for the new rooms
The first night was horrible the room was small old and it didn't look so clean but that wasn't the worst part . Because of the old wall facing the street every time a car passed it felt like an earthquake and the noise make it impossible to slip. The next day I went to complain and they were really comprehensive they changed me to a room in a new part of the hotel completely different, big nice clean and new rooms the one that they show in the pictures. Our next 2 nights were perfect with a pool almost to our own. Also the hotel have a really good spa. They didn't charge us extra for the new room so I cant complain but the only thing its why do you have to complain to get the good stuff in stead of getting what you paid for from the beginning.

Nice hotel, average value
The staff was friendly, the location was close to the city center (which was great for shopping and exploring Antigua). The rooms have hardwood floors and the extra blankets are not the comfortable. The staff is very friendly though. Overall it is a nice hotel with a good location in Antigua.

Beautiful Hotel
Overall Hotel was great. Clean pool, great steam/sauna area, gym had adequate machines. The only gripe is that there is a charge to use WiFi in the rooms. Free WiFi was only available by the bar, restaurant, and lobby.

With new roads in Guatemala, do not miss: 1. Chichicastenango, 2 1/2 hrs drive ( best of all ) 2. Panajachel and Atitlan, lake ( Second best attraction)

Awesome experience
One of my best hotel experiences in all of my travels abroad. The staff were always polite and accommodating. They helped to organize transportation to and from the airport as well my local trips and tours of the city and surrounding villages. All my concerns and questions were promptly addressed - I had a priblem with my wi-fi, which they diligently addressed until it was fixed. I didnt end up using it much, but nice to have so I could post my pictures to Facebook. My room was immaculate and had a wonderful rustic charm to it. I also appreciated their emphasis on responsible use of energy and other resources - that is, living "green". Great place!

Th best time to really enjoy Antigua is during the weekend. While there is lots to see and do, the city is full of life from Friday evening until Sunday when most of the local sightseers and foreign travelers come through. They all add a vibrancy to the city that you will not see during the week. Parque Centrale is usually bustling and filled with people. The restaurants and shops are also filled with people and there is an air of excitement that adds texture to the experience.

Beautiful and quaint setting
You will be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful courtyard adorned by flowers and parrots. It is also located near the main square of the city with many restaurant/shopping options.
