Coyaba Beach Resort

The beach is beautiful but short. The hotel is very nice by Grenadian standards; our sheets had blood stains on them. I would not choose to vacation in Grenada as a Caribbean resort area again. Hotel borders public beach on both sides.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Buy bottled water, snacks at the IGA. It's very expensive but entirely less so than at the hotel. Buy the meal inclusive plan at least for breakfast; it's a better deal. The afternoon tea is a nice touch.

not the best

the room was unclean with bugs everywhere. my maid did a horrible job of cleaning the room. the staff was very unfriendly. i actually had ordered a snack at the bar and was told they wouldnt give me the bar snack unless i moved to the dining room. there was maybe four people in the bar and dining room at the time. great location. the pool is very far from the beach. the bar drinks were not impressive.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

I rented the dingies and drove around the island and saw Grenada from the water. It was definately fun and worth it. The reef was mostly dead so the snorkling should be done seperate but it is a great family fun time.

Coyaba Hotel

The grounds of the hotel are very beautiful and the staff takes great care of it. The grounds are 4 stars but the rooms are 3 stars. Limited Wi-Fi service.

Lovely grounds (garden of eden)

Most hotels offer afternoon check-in, the staff at Coyaba was nice enough to allow check-in at 8am. We couldn't have selected a better hotel when it comes to location and service and before it slips my mind, the grounds/landscape were well manicured with fruit trees (mangoes and wax apples) strategically placed in room view. I have stayed several times at near by hotels but no comes close to Coyaba.
