Just to clear any fog that may be in the air-hotel stars in the US does not compare to hotels in Europe. This was a four star hotel that would be rated as a bad motel in the US if that. However relative to other hotels in the areas, this hotel had a great view of the city, outside the hotel was well maintained, respectable staff etc. Inside the hotel; there is a T.V. I think its 15 inches with three channels, there is internet-but you have to pay for it, the rooms are pretty small (Europe again), and the water is not drinkable. Besides that, its a great place to spend the night and enjoy breakfast and a free ride from and to the center of the city.

Meilleur hôtel
Sur une colline couverte de pins, l'hôtel domine Thessalonique et sa baie : une vue superbe. Pour descendre en ville, une navette est prévue,sinon les taxis ont des prix très modestes; Chambre confortable, très bon couchage. Bon restaurant à prix raisonnable; Un personnel souriant, disponible, prêt à vous aider, notamment à l'accueil et au restaurant. Facile à trouver si on repère la "ring road", sortie n° 7, panneau de l'hôtel.
