Fantastic views, comfortable, friendly
Fantastic views from the top of the cliff of the town and the volcano. A short walk th the busy twn centre. A great atmosphere! Amazingly beautiful!

Stella was really helpful and nice. Def worth a stay for the views from the rooms. Ideally located between the main shopping area and the upper section of Fira. Note that this means having to walk ~15mins each way when heading out.

Only thing better than the view: leaving
[...]The "double" room contained a single bed, hardly bigger than a twin size.The bathroom was grungy and the luke-warm water cut out after one minute.A 3 night non-refundable reservation didn't stop me from walking across the street and booking a new hotel after one night.

Great View, Great Location
Close access to the cliffside walkway and town of Fira. Bed linens and towels were dated, but clean and acceptable. Breakfast was complimentary. No restaurant on site, but many available within walking distance. No amenities at hotel other than standard bathroom toiletries. Our room was a separate apartment from the hotel with a very nice balcony with table and chairs.

Ripped Off
Buyer Beware!
There are two Kafieris properties ... the one on the cliff is terrible and I'll never recommend to anyone. The beds did not have a box spring or fitted sheets, towels were old and hard, and a plastic shower curtain in a 2'x 2' shower that clings to your body every time you touch it ... Beware and don't make same mistakes I made! The other property is the Kafieris apartments (different owner) who was very accomodating, better ammenities and views from rooms ... I would have switched if I had not already paid Cheap tickets in advance.

Unbeatable Location
Location high on the cliff overlooking Santorini is outstanding; small well run hotel, even tho it has limited facilities worked very well for us as it was an easy walk into fira itself along the cliff tops; our balcony faced due west, so we could sit there sipping a glass of wine watching the sun set over, one of the great experiences of any holiday. Also has the advantage that far enough from the downtown area that the sudden influx of four or five thousand people off the cruise ships never ventured close enough to bother us.

Long walk from hotel
Try a different taverna for dinner every night, but beware of some of the cliff top locations that charge high prices when a short walk cuts the price in half and still has same excellent view.

At least the shower was good
The caretaker ([...]) was wonderful and the water pressure in the shower was great. Thats the best I can say. The jacuzzi was cold water, the beds were the worst, breadfast would have been fine, if the coffee was NOT the instant kind.

Beautiful Location
This hotel was very nice. It was very clean and tidy. It had a small refrigerator which is appreciated to keep some nice cold drinks in your room. It had a gorgeous view of the caldera and easily situated in the middle of the island if you would like to enjoy the night life. It was a bit difficult to walk up to our hotel because it is mostly uphill but I can't complain because that is the reason we had such a gorgeous view. We opted to rent a car and it made seeing the island so much easier. I loved our accommodations and would definitely come back.

Short walk from hotel
I have to recommend a wonderful and modest restaurant called Nicholas. The staff is moderately friendly but don't be dissuaded because the food will be worth it. The gyros are delicious and you can find many locations within the island.

we were here to have a wedding.the host was so kind,helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. the view from the roof top was fantastic. we would like to stay this hotel if we go to Santorini again and will recomend this hotel to our friends.
