This is a very good quality hotel, with a high level of services, at a good spot near all places of interest. (07/08 EP) The hotel is a 4 storey ochre and white building. Although modern in construction, some classical elements are evident such as the beams of the balconies, the facade arches and the marble floors. There is a pleasant cafe outside, frequented by guests and locals alike. Venus Melena is ideally located in the high street of Limenas Hersonissou, close to the seafront, the shopping area, the bars and clubs of this famous Cretan town.

- The rooms are medium sized, and tastefully furnished with wooden, traditional style furniture. They are fully air conditioned and have satellite tv and fridge as standard. Most of them come with balconies, overlooking the busy high street, the side streets or the hotel's pool on the inside of the building.
