This is a very good property that is tucked away from the usual bustling summer crowds of the area, and combines value for money in a pleasant family environment without lack of amenities (07/08 EP) It is a pleasant brown and light yellow building, with a parking lot in front of the main entrance. There are olive groves nearby and a large refreshing swimming pool. Hotel Kamari is in the area called Hani Kokkini, about 17km from Heraklion and 2km from Kato Gouves on the seafront. The Cretan Aquarium is just a short drive away, and the tourist hot spots of Hersonissos, Malia and Stalida are within an easily reachable 5 km radius.

- The rooms are medium sized, comfortable, clean and with air condition at small supplement. They all have views of the surrounding countryside and gardens, and also the road that leads to Heraklion and Aghios Nikolaos.

- The breakfast area is at the ground floor, near the gardens. The main bar is also near, catering to the guests' needs for light snacks and drinks most of the day and night. The guests can enjoy their meals there or outside in the shaded patio.
