A romantic getaway in the old town with sumptuous Venetian touches
Housed in a three-story stone pink building in the heart of Rethymno’s old town, the Casa Vitae hotel is accessed through a passageway decorated with hand painted murals. The hotel was built in the 16th century for a Venetian nobleman and offers tourists a different vacation experience from the usual — one steeped in history. What a find!
From our initial welcome experience of beverages in the courtyard, amazing breakfasts, and the courteous staff's attention to meeting our needs, I would highly recommend Casa Vitae. We enjoyed it and our experience in Rethymnon so much that we extended our stay there.

A Picture Perfect Stay
An amazing beautifully classic venetian style hotel. The staff, Maria was simply wonderful! The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options and tasty delights. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. This hotel is in a great location for walking access to everything in the city. We can not wait to return and stay again!

Todella miellyttävä hotelli, henkilökunta ja sijainti
Palvelu oli erinomaisen ystävällistä ja huomioivaa. Huone oli viihtyisä, siisti ja hotellin sijainti erinomainen tunnelmaltaan. Hotelliaamiainen oli monipuolinen ja runsas, sekä vaihteleva. Antoivat jopa läksiäislahjan, jota en ole ennen kokenut. En osaa sanoa mitään muuta negatiivista kuin että Kreeta oli iltaisin aika hiljainen eli ohjelmaa olisi kaivannut, mutta en näe sitä toisaalta yksin hotellin tehtäväksikään järjestää ja he kyllä kysyttäessä kertoivat esim. musiikki-illoista lähiympäristössä.
