KONTOKALI BAY RESORT & SPA is a Hotel-Bungalow complex on the central eastern shoreline of the emerald Isle of Corfu, situated only 6 Km from the island's capital, Corfu Town.
The Main Building of the Kontokali Bay overlooks both the sparkling blue waters of the Ionian Sea that separates Corfu from the taupe, coastal mountains of the Greek Mainland and the Gouvia Marina. The Bungalows are set in the midst of pine and cypress-laden garden.
All the room types have the following amenities: balcony / terrace, central heating & A/C, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, radio channels, mini bar, safety deposit box (note book size), hairdryer,free Wi-Fi internet access. As a warm welcome guests receive in all rooms: complimentary bottle of wine and a bottle of mineral water upon arrival, bathrobes and slippers.
Impeccably friendly service, tranquil surroundings and excellent quality are the secrets of the success of our Restaurants and Bars. Dining options include Main Restaurant, beach tavern and two a la cart restaurants (operate weather permitted). We are also taking into consideration our guests wishes for: vegetarian - low calorie - diabetic - organic choices in all buffets. Beside this, there is also main bar and beach bar.
You can relax on one of our two sandy beaches or by the pool (including children's pool). Sport activities include water-skiing, paragliding, tennis, fitness room, mountain bike center and table tennis.
The newly built Spa & wellness center is located next to the hotel's main building and includes: indoor heated swimming pool, heated treatment pool, jacuzzi, 2 saunas, steam room (hammam), gymnasium (fully equipped), aerobics room, relaxation room and 9 treatment rooms.

- The whole of the island is within easy reach for those who wish to explore it by car. Corfu Town is accessible both by the frequent local bus service, by taxi and also a courtesy hotel bus, running (once daily), to and from Corfu Town, which can be arranged by the Hotel Reception. The Kontokali Bay Hotel is perfectly situated for any type of holiday. At just 6 kilometers from Corfu Town, the port and Corfu's International Airport transfer times are just 20 minutes. Get out of the airport and head south on Aerodromiou toward Ethnikou Stadiou 1 km, turn left at Ethnikou Stadiou and after 0.4 km turn left at Ethniki Odos Lefkimmis. Go straight 0.5 km, then slightly turn right at An. Katsimidi. After 0.4 km turn left at Kerkyras-Peleka and after 0.6 km turn right at Felix Lames. Go straight 0.8 km and then turn left at Ethniki Odos Palaiokastritsis. After 4.9 km you will reach to the hotel.

Peaceful and relaxing break
We had a wonderful room with a view of the beach from the balcony (watched the sun rise over the sea in the morning!), and it was spotlessly clean with a great power shower. The resort itself has beautifully kept grounds with lots of plants and flowers. The staff were exceptional - each and every one was friendly, charming and couldn't do enough to help, without being overbearing or intrusive - can't praise them highly enough. There's a great spa which we spent a morning in (hydrotherapy pool, massage, gym), but the majority of our time was spent on the well kept beach, which was so peaceful - all you could hear were the waves and the birds! All in all a lovely break in a tranquil setting with 5* luxury treatment.

Food was good but we were on b&b and thought evening meals were overpriced (it is a 5* resort I guess!). We found we preferred to eat bigger lunches in the beach restaurant (lovely stuffed aubergine and fresh salads!) and then snack in the evening rather than take the more expensive buffet dinner.
