Good location...great price...
We started off rough, out taxi never showed up...so other arrangements were made...after than everything went smoothly. All our travel tours were excellent...guides were very knowledgeable..food very good..wine even better..the scenery..sites...were majestic. The staff at hotel couldn't be any nicer..very friendly...and helpful. Room was small, but clean, and had hot water can't ask for more than that...and breakfast was good.. but most of the time were were out enjoying ourselves. Best trip ever....can't wait to try another...A very happy camper!!

Athens with NO sleep!
Nice Hotel.... However NO sleep!
This was my first trip to Greece and I was super excited for this dreamed trip. As I arrived with my friend to the Omonia area where the hotel is located we walked through a horrible area that had an awful smell and there where suspicious people and junkies all over. As we arrived in the hotel I asked the front desk lady about the area and she inmediatelly advised that ladies should not walk around specially at night. Throught the days we took the metro during the day and we had to take a taxi to get to the hotel at night. The hotel is veeery noisy at night you hear women and junkies screeming. The hotel also has a draining sistem that goes throught the rooms and it creates and awfull smell. Staff, where kind and helpful and the breakfast is very good. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...

Glad to be home
The breakfast was always the same and not a whole lot of varity. Didnt taste good i would say and my son didnt want to eat it either. The area where the hotel is located was not acceptable and very dirty! I wouldnt go there with kids at all, especially since there were alot of drug dealers, violence and prostitutes. I was scared to leave at night! Now i am glad to be home and need a real vacation from this vacation.

OK for one night
We spent one night in the hotel. The fellow at the reception was friendly and helpful. Walls were thin but the noise quieted by late evening. Arriving after dark the surroundings seemed unsavory. We took a walk after breakfast and found that the hotel is in an old, crowded neighborhood but not threatening in the daylight. However, if we return to Athens we will look for a different place to stay.

Very basic, no better than a hostel
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I have never felt sooo unsafe in my life. I had read other reviews that said that but decided that people expect too much and that I'd take my chances. I was wrong since I have never seen so many prostitutes, drug dealers, H and crack addicts, and sketchiness in my life ......Omonia square is dangerous, but if you are in one of the other hotels located on the main streets around the square you will be fine, but Zinon is tucked away so you have to walk through unidentifiable street liquid and crowds of street urchins. The hotel itself is fine, its a budget hotel, prettty barebones, but suits the needs for a city that has so much to offer.

You get what you pay for
Hotel room was mostly cramped. Beds could use a little upgrade. There's absolutely no view, and the side street is pretty dirty. Bathroom is tiny, and floods easily. The main good thing about this hotel was the good breakfast spread they had.

THis Hotel is in the WORST part of Athens. There are Drug dealers all over as you walk outside. Definately not safe. The pictures on the website are from another hotel.

Nice Hotel, Bad Neighborhood
The hotel staff were very helpful when I booked a guided tour to Delphi, which I highly recomend, but were not very helpful when I asked about the city buses. The hotel itself is very nice, but its in an area that is full of many unscrupulous looking people, and it is rather distant from the Acropolis and major sights of the city.
