Overpriced
The staff was excellent, however this is far from a 5 star hotel. Rooms were dated. I am not one that usually complains about the comfort of the beds, but these were terrible. They were so hard that neither me or my husband slept at all. Internet is 6 Euro per hour or 18 for the whole day. More than I have ever been charged, and I travel around Europ a lot. The only free place for wi-fi was in the restaurant, which was kind of awkward. They did book a tour for us that was great. The location of the hotel is at the top of a pretty steep hill so if you are not into walking, this isn't the place for you. It was quite a hike to the Plaka. There was a taxi strike while we were there so we weren't able to utilize them.

Nice, but not five star by my standards
First of all there was only free wifi at the pool, which was open 9am-9pm, and you had to pay in the room. The room was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable of all the other hotels I stayed in while in Greece. The pool on the rooftop was nice, but very small.

Marathon week
The hotel was nice I liked the location it was not in the middle of eveything but in walking distance of what you needed. Up a hill if you don't like hills stay away! Recomended a great place to eat the first night amazing food. Only down fall was there was no air in the room only heat so the room was horable to sleep in if we did not leave the window open at night and that was not always helpfull. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel it was 22 euro per person but we were able to get food near the hotel. Over all if I stayed again I would pay for the room with a view not a court yard room. Walls were thin but I find most hotels in Europe are like that

Excellent hotel away from Plaka noise
This is a nice, upscale hotel located next to Lycabettus mountain, with spectacular views of the city. It is in an upscale "sleeping" quarters of the city, but only about 10 minute walk from the major square (Syntagma). It also has an excellent swimming pool on the rooftop. Views from the rooms are amazing. The service is also excellent. If you are looking for a quieter place to stay away from the buzz of Plaka (the main tourist neighborhood), then this is a great choice. However, if you want to be in the middle of touristy action, then you may want to stay in Plaka. Also, keep in mind that the internet charges and breakfast charges add up.

Nice Location, sub-par hotel
Excellent location in Kolonaki overlooking Acropolis. Front desk service was superb. 2 minute walk to Mount Lycabettus tram which takes you to the top of a hill with beautiful views of the whole city. Excellent restaurant at the top, but very expensive. It was nice to have taxis available at any time at the hotel. 5 star hotel in Europe is not that great. Room was too warm - A/C not on in April! Loud noise at 6:30AM in the courtyard right next to our room. Very loud...I think it may have been laundry day or something as they were rolling out carts. Liked that they gave you the taxi cab guidelines sheet.

The temperature of the hotel room
The temperature of the hotel room was very hot ( their system was still operating on the heating system, they had not yet started to operate the AC cooling system as they were judging that the season was not yet warm enough - although the outside temperature was 24 °C and inside teh rooms were very warm .. The swiming pool was still empty ( 17 th April ) althoug weather was warm . The hotel refused to service the breakfast on the terrasse of the breakfast level (6 th floor ), terrasse that has a great view on the city .Only breakfast inside !! So, no swimming pool , no terrasse breakfast = no good value for our money .
