- Phidias hotel is located in the heart of old Athens. The Thisseion train station is 50 meters away from the hotel and takes you anywhere you want to go in Athens. The hotel is situated on the pedestrian street of Apostolou Pavlou, ideal spot to visit the city and all the great monuments. Ideally situated in the centre of the archaeological sites, the Phidias Hotel is 250 metres from the Acropolis, 100 metres from the Ancient Market, and 150 metres from Keramikos. With the metro station just 100 metres away, you will have little trouble travelling across the city.

Great location
The hotel was in an excellent location on a pedestrianized street. As a two-star establishment, it was clean and comfortable if not fancy, and the staff was generally helpful and friendly. However, when we checked in, we found our room had not been completely cleaned -- a problem that was quickly resolved after we complained.
